Emergencies

What to do if your pet requires urgent care

If you feel your pet requires urgent or emergency treatment then please ring the practice on the number above. For calls within practice hours one of our receptionists will either arrange for you to come in straight away or transfer you to a member of the clinical staff.

If you have an emergency or require urgent treatment outside normal practice hours you will be advised to contact our Out of Hours partner Exonia Veterinary Emergency Services (EVES)

Based next to St Davids train station in Exeter (telephone 01392 284217; post code EX4 4AT).

EVES is fully staffed by specialist emergency care vets and nurses all night and ready to help straight away. Think of them as the pet equivalent of the Accident and Emergency department of a hospital! You can visit their website here.

To provide the best round the clock care for your pet it will be necessary to arrange for a transfer to Exonia Vets during the out of hours' time of the practice.
